3D wall panels are textured decorative panels that are manufactured with repetitive designs to produce a modern design for interiors. They can be used in residential, commercial and any other space. They are used to create accent walls and elevate the look of any home, restaurant, coffee shop, hotel, bar, or anything else in between.

At Talissa Decor, we offer plant fiber and plastic (PVC tiles). The plant finer 3D panels are made of bamboo pulp. The process is very similar to papermaking. We also carry a selection of PVC panels.

Our 3D Wall Panels are 1.5 mm thick.

No, unless they are made of plastic (PVC). Plant fiber 3D wall panels shouldn’t get into direct contact with water.

Yes, absolutely. You can spray paint the panels with any type of paint. We recommend priming them before painting to create a better surface for the paint (just as you’d paint drywall).

3D wall panels are usually available in a natural off-white color. You can paint them to any color you want. However, we offer a wide variety of different patterns and colours to match every style, including 3D Wall Panels that imitate wood. Other 3D Wall panels available in our shop can have a metallic or aged finish, and some come popular in colours such as grey, black, gold, and so on.

The depth varies from model to model and range between ½”to 1¼”.

A small (square) panel weight is 0.65lb. or 300 gr. A big (rectangular) panel weight is 1.3lb or 600gr.

The hollow spaces behind the panels and their geometrical shape improve the sound insulation; however, the main purpose of the panels is a decorative one. You can certainly use them to improve the soundproofing of certain areas, for example, 3D Wall Panels are perfect for home theatres because they improve the sound insulation.

It depends on what you’re looking for. Installing 3D panels on your wall is certainly a lot easier than installing ceramic tiles.

Yes, the panels are hollow. This allows us to stack them tight together for transportation and limits their weight.

Each pack of 3D wall panels will cover 64 sq.ft.

INSTALLATION

You can cover up the joints using the traditional method, which is to fill them up using a drywall compound or you can try a much simpler shortcut that we’ve demonstrated in this video. Basically, what you can do is purchase thin edgings and use caulking to install them on top of the joints. After that, all you need to do is secure them with a nail gun, and you’re done. This is a great way to save on time and it’s also a great way to avoid all the mess that comes with using drywall.

The best way to measure your wall for 3D wall panelling is to measure the entire height and length of the wall before adding up the numbers for the square footage. Then calculate the total of 3D wall panels you’ll need by adding up the square footage of each panel in order to calculate the length.

Installing 3D wall panels is pretty simple and requires no previous installation experience. Here’s how to install them:

Step 1: Measure your starting point and how many panels you’ll need.

Step 2: Mark your starting point.

Step 3: Apply adhesive along the perimeter and also the middle of the back side of your panel.

Step 4: Begin installing your panels by applying equal pressure with your finger tips.

Step 5: Continue installing your wall panels by putting them together.

Step 6: After installing your panels, apply your choice of primer, top coat paint and you’re done. Here’s a video guide we made when we installed our gorgeous iceberg wall panels.

Because panels have a fairly deep design (meaning they are hollow) that makes it a little bit harder to install them around outlets and light switches. However, there is a way to install it without much hassle. Check out our step by step video guide.

Yes, you can cut 3D Wall Panels to the shape that you prefer. You can use a utility knife (make sure you have a new sharp blade). To make a nice straight cut, you’ll have to slide the blade along the cutting line 3-4 times gradually, increasing the pressure as you go. Here’s a quick video tutorial on how to install the panels around outlets and switches.

We recommend to use solvent based Contact Cement ( Weldwood original formula by DAP or Heavy Duty Contact Cement by Lepage).

Attaching 3D wall panels is pretty straightforward. All you need to do is apply the glue along the back side of the panels and apply equal pressure with your fingers as you install them. Make sure you don’t leave any gaps in between them and that they are properly aligned.

A great way to achieve a 3D wall panel pattern on your wall is to install 3D wall panels. You can choose between a variety of thermoplastic or plant fiber panels to achieve the look you want, and you can even find panels that perfectly imitate wood or stone for a more natural look. Here are some popular 3D wall panels that look great no matter where you install them.

Uninstalling 3D wall panels is as simple as installing them. Here’s a quick step by step guide:

  1. Move away any furniture and cover it all with a drop cloth. You should cover your floors too while you’re at it.
  2. Start from the edge and work your way inside using a paint scraper.
  3. Gently pull the panel off the wall. If it is stuck, use an electric heat gun to soften the glue before proceeding. Do not pull too hard because that could pull off the surface of the wall under it. If you see that the panel is stuck, try to soften the glue with a heating gun as much as possible.
  4. Proceed to remove the remaining panels the same way.
