The 8223 Faux Tin Ceiling Tile design is best suited for rooms with an antique or Victorian theme. They are also excellent for concealing a damaged or old ceiling. These tiles can be installed using the drop in method or they can be glue-up straight over your existing ceiling. For this installation method, you will need a foam roller, adhesive and a cutting tool for trimming the tiles when necessary. As part of our Prestige Collection, you can rest assured that these tiles are temperature resistant and waterproof. They can be installed in any room including bathrooms. Intertek Testing Services (USA) has also given these tiles a Class A Fire Rating for your peace of mind. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: We recommend ordering an extra 10% for regular ceilings or 15% – 20% for irregularly shaped ceilings. This is to allow for waste and offcuts while ensuring that you have enough tiles to cover your whole ceiling. If you need help calculating the number of tiles needed for your ceiling, our team is always happy to help. We also recommend planning the edges of your ceiling. You can use crown moldings, filler tiles or you can leave the raw edges as they are. Check out our short video that we’ve created to show you what results you get when you remove ceiling tiles:
