RM74 Polystyrene Ceiling Tile.
When you want to give a room a new look without making a substantial financial investment, these Styrofoam ceiling tiles are just what you need. They are lightweight and easy to install using the glue up method. You will need adhesive, a caulk gun, and a tool for cutting the tiles to size as and when needed.
These tiles offer a number of benefits. They are easy to work with, lightweight, affordable, and they can be painted any color you desire to suit your décor. These tiles also help improve the energy efficiency of the room. They add an extra layer to help keep the heat in during winter and maintain cooler temperatures in the summer.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Size of the tile is 19.6″x19.6″(covers 2.7 sq.ft). For more detailed information please click on additional information tab.
When placing your tile order, it’s important to order additional tiles. This is to allow for waste and offcuts. Order an extra 10% for regular ceilings or 15% – 20% extra for irregular ceilings. If you are not sure about the number of tiles you will need for your ceiling, our team will be more than happy to advise.
We also recommend planning the edges of your ceiling. You can leave the raw edges as they are, add filler tiles or crown moldings.
Relatively easy to install but will take some time. Trim off any little pieces on the edges first. Once installed, take your time with caulking.
Thank you very much for your tips, Kelly.
Much appreciated!
” I have a log home that had a horrible popcorn ceiling approximately 175 Sq Feet in size. The drywall tape started coming loose in a few places and I was surprised at what a lousy job they had done even with boarding under the popcorn finish! After removing all the loose tape I used the styrofoam tiles which completely covered the ceiling, stuck perfectly, and look amazing! They were so easy to install I actually enjoyed myself!
I ordered the tiles from Canada and they arrived in days! Service was excellent, product excellent, I would recommend! “
We completed our project and are thrilled with how it turned out. We had a damaged ceiling from removing a wall so we made a drop ceiling.
