A QUICK OFFICE FACE LIFT UP PROJECT- DROP IN CEILING TILES (PART 2)

This time we were asked to replace the old drop in ceiling tiles above the reception area with something way more attractive. On the picture below you can see how it looked before we started ( just like any other 99% of the office ceilings all across North America).

A couple of days before we started we met with office personnel and presented them some models we thought will work the best. After some discussions (and only after we’ve installed couple of ceiling tiles for demonstration purposes) it was decided to go ahead with tile #TD05 Antique White.

We decided to keep all the existing drop tiles in place (mainly for insulating purposes) and installed our faux tin ceiling tiles just under them. The grids were gray colors, so there was no need to paint them – they matched the ceiling tiles perfectly. It took a installer less than an hour to reface the entire ceiling. Here is how it looks now :

The breakdown of this project : 26 ceiling tiles – $285.74 , installation cost – $50.
Total – $335.74
