Made from durable PVC, our 251 Faux Tin Ceiling Tiles can be installed by drop in or glue up method. These tiles are smaller in size which makes it that much easier to match the size of your ceiling. For the glue up installation, all you need is a foam roller, adhesive, and a sharp cutting tool for trimming tiles to size as and when needed. There is no need to hire a contractor, and the installation is so easy that you don’t need previous experience either.
These tiles are part of our Prestige Collection and, as such, they are waterproof and temperature resistant. They can be installed in any room without worrying about distortion or discoloration.
They also have a Class A Fire Rating from Intertek Testing Services (USA). This means that they do a great job of hiding that old ceiling while adding extra fire safety.
In order to make sure that you have enough tiles to cover your entire ceiling, we recommend ordering an extra 10% for regular ceilings and 15% – 20% for those ceilings with an irregular shape. This is to allow for waste and to ensure that all of your tiles come from the same batch. When tiles are ordered from separate batches, some color and design variations may occur.
Another important point to consider is that you should plan your edges. You can leave the raw edges as they are or you can add filler tiles, or crown moldings for that finishing touch.
