These tiles are stylish and lightweight. Made from the best PVC, they are designed to last. They can be installed by glue up or drop in method, and there is no need for professional experience or the help of a contractor. The glue up installation method requires just a few supplies including adhesive, a foam roller, and a tool to cut the tiles to size when needed.
Like our other Prestige Collection tiles, the 265 faux tin ceiling tile is temperature resistant. They can be installed in any room including bathrooms and spas where the level of humidity is significantly high.
These tiles also have a Class A Fire Rating from Intertek Testing Services. This means that installing these tiles will improve the style in the room as well as the level of safety.
In order to make sure that you have enough tiles to cover your whole ceiling, we recommend ordering extra tiles. When tiles come from different batches, some minor differences can occur. Placing a single order prevents such differences and ensures best results. For regular ceilings, we recommend ordering 10% extra while irregularly shaped ceilings require 15% – 20% extra to allow for waste and offcuts.
It’s also good to plan the edges of your ceiling. You could use filler tiles, crown moldings, or you can leave the raw edges as they are.
