They installed the planks in only a few hours, and they did it themselves! It’s as simple as that. In this case, the planks were simply glued over their popcorn ceiling. No silicone or other fillers were used to cover the joints.

We were delighted with the results of this project, and our customer is enjoying the appearance of the new ceiling!

RM97 Grey Polystyrene Ceiling Planks.

These planks are even lighter than our PVC ceiling tiles which means that they can be installed in no time! There is no need to hire a professional contractor, and you don’t need any experience. This classic design means that they can be used in just about any room. In case you choose to change the theme of the room, you can be sure that your ceiling will still complement the new style!

Our styrofoam planks are designed for glue-up installation only. You will need a caulk gun, adhesive, and a cutting tool. After they are installed, you will never need to look at your old popcorn ceiling again!

They also add some extra insulation to the room which means that it will be warmer in winter and cooler in summer. This is always great for those rising energy bills!

We also recommend planning the edges of your ceiling. You can leave the raw edges as they are or add crown moldings.

The size of the tile is 39.4”×6.56″ (covers ~ 1.8 sq.ft). For more detailed information please click on the additional information tab.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

We recommend ordering 10% extra tiles for regular ceilings, or 15% – 20% extra for irregularly shaped ceilings. This is to allow for any waste and to ensure that you have enough tiles to cover the whole surface area. If you are unsure about how many tiles to order, our team is always happy to help.

Product as described. Very thin styrofoam planks with imprinted grey wood texture image. Good solutiuon for quick old cottage ceiling cover. Wish these would be a bit less expensive.

I just finished putting these up on my ceiling. It looks really good! Easy to install – I did it completely by myself using a utility knife and scissors to cut them to size and PL 300 adhesive. Much nicer than the ugly semi-stucco that was up there!

Interesting product – never heard of anything like it before. Arrived quickly. I was sceptical at first, but still decide to install after viewing a few installation videos. Very happy with the end result. Warm grey color perfectly suits my new office , way better then old popcorn ceiling I had here before. Thanks.

Installation:
These tiles are easy to install using the glue up method since they are so lightweight. You will need glue adhesive, a foam roller, and a sharp tool for cutting as needed. For more details, visit our installation instructions page. After the installation is complete, no further treatments will be necessary.

Tile Care:
While these tiles do not require regular care, you might like to clean them occasionally. Water and a cloth will more than suffice, but you can use mild soap if necessary. Abrasives and strong chemicals should not be used since they cause damage.
These tiles are to be used indoors only and on closed patios. Exposure to direct sunlight will result in damage.
