RM12 Polystyrene Ceiling Tile.

These tiles are even lighter than our PVC ceiling tiles which means that they can be installed in no time! There is no need to hire a professional contractor, and you don’t need any experience. This classic design means that they can be used in just about any room. In case and you choose to change the theme of the room, you can be sure that your ceiling will still complement the new style!

Our styrofoam tiles are designed for glue-up installation only. You will need a caulk gun, adhesive, and a cutting tool. After they are installed, you will never need to look at your old popcorn ceiling again!

These tiles arrive unfinished and unpainted. You can leave them as they are or you can paint them if you like.

They also add some extra insulation to the room which means that it will be warmer in winter and cooler in summer. This is always great for those rising energy bills!

We also recommend planning the edges of your ceiling. You can leave the raw edges as they are, add filler tiles or crown moldings.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

When placing your tile order, it’s important to order additional tiles. This is to allow for waste and offcuts. Order an extra 10% for regular ceilings or 15% – 20% extra for irregular ceilings. Very simple but provides sophisticated look when installed on a ceiling. Very nice and lightweight ceiling tiles. Highly recommended. Easy to install (thank you for the video tutorials – very helpful).

Installation:
These polystyrene ceiling tiles are lightweight and can be glue up directly over your existing ceiling. This installation requires only a few supplies including adhesive, a foam roller, and a tool for cutting the tiles to size when needed. Tile Care:
These polystyrene tiles are virtually maintenance free. If you would like to clean them, you need only use water and a cloth. Mild soap can be used, but harsh chemicals and abrasives should be avoided. Use of such substances will cause damage to the tiles.
These tiles are designed for interior use only. They can be used on close patios, but exposure to direct sunlight will compromise the structural integrity of the tiles and result in discoloration.
