No matter how well you decorate a room, if the ceiling is an eyesore, it will undermine all of your efforts. Of course, nobody wants to endure the inconvenience or expense of replacing their ceiling. This is where our polystyrene tiles come in. They are lightweight which means that they can be installed directly over the existing ceiling! There’s no need to hire a contractor since installation is extremely simple. All you will need is a foam roller, glue adhesive, and a cutting tool.

You will notice that our polystyrene tiles arrive unpainted and unfinished which means that you have the option of leaving them as they are or you can paint them to suit the décor in the room.

In addition, these tiles also add insulation. This means that the room will be cooler in summer and warmer in winter which is great news for your energy bill!

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

We suggest ordering extra tiles to ensure that you have enough for your entire ceiling and to allow for offcuts and waste. An additional 10% for regular ceilings and 15% – 20% for irregularly shaped ceilings is recommended. If you are uncertain about the number of tiles you will need, our team is always happy to help.

We also recommend applying sealant under the edges of the tiles if you finish them in a color that is different from the original ceiling.

Plain and simple. Tiles are as described – light styrofoam with some coating. Was easy to install. Hid my stained popcorn ceiling in the cottage. Installed myself following video guidance on Talissadecor website – worked great. Thanks.

Installation:
Our Styrofoam tiles are to be installed using the glue up method. You will need glue adhesive, a foam roller, and a sharp tool for trimming tiles when necessary. Tile Care:
While these tiles do not need any special care, you might like to clean them from time to time. Water and a cloth will get the job done, and you can use mild soap if necessary. Harsh chemicals and abrasives should not be used since they will damage the tiles.
These ceiling tiles are to be installed indoors and used on closed patios only. Use outdoors and exposure to direct sunlight will result in damage.
